Product Information
Because the manner in which animals are raised has a major impact on the taste, texture, and marbling of the meat, we only purchase our beef from a small number of growers that meet our standards for quality and animal welfare. We work exclusively with providers that have codified programs in place that ensure the animals are raised and brought to market in the most humane ways possible.
We have provided several articles on our Cooking Tips & How-To's page to assist you in the cooking process. Check out our Safe Minimum Internal Temperature Chart to find what temperature you should be cooking your different meat products to. There is also information on best grilling practices that can be found in Lombardo's Grilling Tips.
Full cooking instructions and nutritional information for further processed items can be found here.
All of our products are flash frozen and individually vacuum-sealed to maintain taste and freshness. Most of our items can remain fresh for up to a year if frozen and stored properly - but we recommend cooking and consuming our products within 6 months of receiving them for the best taste and quality.

Company Information
Berk Lombardo was founded in 1971 by Paul Lombardo, as a "cash and carry" premium meat supplier in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, we have expanded into wholesale business, but have recently gotten back to our roots in retail and customer service. We have been in business for 50 years. Find out more about how we started on our About Us page.
To this day, founder Paul Lombardo is still operating and managing Berk Lombardo, along-side Gregg Lombardo. Every aspect of our company is run by family and long-time employees that have become family.
