Fully Cooked Poultry Reheating Instructions

RE-HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

DEFROST

For best results, remove from packaging prior to defrosting. Defrost under refrigeration for several hours or defrost using a microwave if desired. Use defrost button on microwave and defrost for two minutes, increase time for multiple pieces. You can find detailed defrosting instructions here

MICROWAVE

After defrosting, set microwave for 2 minutes. Product should be heated to an internal temperature of 165°F or higher. Use a cooking thermometer for accuracy.

Based on household 1600 WT microwave. Increase time for smaller microwave units and multiple pieces. 

CONVENTIONAL OVEN

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray cooking tray with non-stick cooking spray and place defrosted product on tray. Cook approximately 20-25 minutes. Product should be heated to an internal temperature of 165°F or higher. Use a cooking thermometer for accuracy.

Increase cooking time if not defrosted.

PAN-SEAR

Place a large skillet or frying pan on the stove and heat. Open packaging and place chicken in pan along with any remaining juices/ seasonings. Cover and simmer over medium-high heat. After about 10 minutes, uncover and flip chicken to the opposite side. Place cover back on the pan or skillet and continue cooking another 10 minutes until no juices remain in the pan. Uncover and sear on both sides over high heat for about 1 minute each side, or until chicken is browned to your liking.

(This product is pre-cooked to an internal temperature of 165° F. Chicken should be reheated to an internal temperature of 150° - 165° F. Use a cooking thermometer for accuracy.) 

TOASTER OVEN

Preheat toaster oven, use high heat setting (350°F) with fan. Place defrosted product on aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook 18-22 minutes. Product should be heated to an internal temperature of 165°F or higher. Use a cooking thermometer for accuracy.

GRILL

Preheat toaster oven, use high heat setting (350°F) with fan. Place defrosted product on aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook 18-22 minutes. Product should be heated to an internal temperature of 165°F or higher. Use a cooking thermometer for accuracy.
